Tavie respects your privacy. This document describes what data we collect when you use our CV builder, why we collect it, and how you can stay in control.
Data we collect
- Account info: name, email and avatar provided by Google when you sign in.
- CV content you create: stored on Google Cloud Firestore so you can access it across devices.
- Basic usage events (CV creations, PDF downloads, template views) to improve the product. Aggregate analytics, not tied to individual identity.
How we use the data
- Operate and deliver the CV builder for you.
- Keep your CVs in sync across devices through your signed-in account.
- Understand which templates and flows are most helpful so we can improve them.
Sharing data
Tavie does not sell personal data. We share only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service: Google Cloud (Firebase Auth, Firestore) and our deployment platforms. We comply with valid legal requests as required by law.
Your rights
You can delete any CV at any time from the "My CVs" page. To delete your entire account and associated data, please reach out via email at the bottom of this page.
Terms of Service
By using Tavie you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
Using the service
Tavie is a free service for creating CVs. You agree not to use it for unlawful purposes, to harm others, or to disrupt the system.
Your content
You retain full ownership of the CV content you create. Tavie only stores and displays it for you; we do not use your CV content for advertising or to train models.
Availability
The service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep the system reliable but do not guarantee absolute uptime, especially during maintenance windows.
Changes to the terms
When we update these terms we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service means you accept the new version.
